Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking an experienced Project Manager to organize and lead complex design and construction initiatives for theme park facilities in the Orlando area. You will develop scope of work, manage budgets and schedules, oversee bidding, contract routing, and vendor oversight, and coordinate engineering design decisions and field production, ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years progressive experience in design/engineering with theme park design & construction management.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects and working with a general contractor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and general conditions; oversee design development to align with budget and schedule.
• Oversee bidding and awarding, develop bidders list, project schedule, and RFP; manage bids and bid responses.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
