Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a flexible Utility Person to support plant operations across housekeeping, maintenance, production, and equipment operation. You will monitor plant conditions, grease and lubricate equipment, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

You may operate equipment and assist with day-to-day needs, contributing to safe and efficient plant performance. This role suits hands-on individuals who value teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1-year equipment operation, plant operation, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read gauges and interpret dials and make competent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant operations including production, quality control, loading and shipping.
• Plant clean-up and lubrication.
• Assist with preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.
• Must be willing to cross train in all plant areas.
• Operate plant-specific mobile equipment such as Bobcat, Kubota, RTV, etc.
• Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections on equipment and maintain maintenance log.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations and procedures.
