Job summary

Hunter the Headhunter is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager for a well-established food manufacturing client in Wisconsin. You will own plant reliability, lead a team, and drive uptime through structured maintenance practices.

This high-visibility role requires building PM/PdM programs, managing CMMS, and collaborating with operations to support production goals, with accountability and measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in food or beverage manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong track record of improving maintenance operations.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a maintenance team including supervisors and MRO/parts.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability, uptime, and plant performance.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Own CMMS utilization, maintenance metrics, and KPI tracking.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations to support production goals.
• Create structure around inventory, spare parts, and planning processes.
• Be a visible, hands-on leader on the plant floor.
