A well-established, growth-oriented food manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to take ownership of plant reliability and lead a team through its next phase of operational improvement.

This is a high-impact leadership role with strong visibility, stepping into a site that is ready for structure, accountability, and performance-driven maintenance practices.

The Opportunity

You’ll inherit a team and operation that needs a strong leader to bring consistency, elevate standards, and drive uptime. This is not a “keep the lights on” role — it’s a build, stabilize, and optimize environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead and develop a maintenance team including a Maintenance Supervisor and MRO/Parts function
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability, uptime, and overall plant performance
• Establish and enforce preventive & predictive maintenance programs
• Own CMMS utilization, maintenance metrics, and KPI tracking
• Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
• Partner cross-functionally with operations to support production goals
• Create structure around inventory, spare parts, and planning processes
• Be a visible, hands-on leader on the plant floor

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in food or beverage manufacturing maintenance (dairy highly preferred)
• Strong track record of turning around or improving maintenance operations
• Deep technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
• Experience with high-speed production and packaging equipment
• Background in building or optimizing PM/PdM programs
• Experience with CMMS systems and data-driven maintenance environments
• A leader who can coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
• Someone who is comfortable challenging the status quo and raising the bar
