Job summary

Aerotek in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for the 1st shift to assemble burn-in test equipment. You will perform full builds, read blueprints, and work with a range of tools in a clean, organized facility with strong long-term benefits.

Hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This onsite role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA, and 401(k) with employer matching.

Qualifications

• 12 years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Comfortable working with small and large parts.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
• Proficient with wrenches, screwdrivers, and pneumatic tools.
• Experience building products from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Perform full mechanical builds of burnin test equipment.
• Assemble units using power tools and hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints to complete assemblies.
• Solder copper piping and assist with brazing tasks.
• Work with small components and large industrial units.
• Stand for most of the day and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with a hoist.
• Maneuver in awkward positions to complete builds.
