HRU in Novi, MI is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production in a low-volume, high-complexity environment. You will lead production teams, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement across functions including engineering and logistics.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while developing employees and meeting KPIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing supervision or team lead experience.
• Ability to work different shifts including 6:00 AM–1:00 AM.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• 5+ years manufacturing leadership preferred.
• Experience with machine tooling or body welding assembly.
• Experience in union manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily production to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.
• Manage resources by optimizing staffing, equipment, and workflow.
• Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen and other initiatives.
• Develop employees by identifying training needs and assigning responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Logistics to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs and communicate results and improvement plans.
• Promote operational excellence and maintain safe, organized workplace.
