Job summary
Orotex Corporation in Novi, MI is seeking a Shift Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations in a high-speed automotive injection molding environment. You will direct production teams, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and drive continual improvement initiatives across the line.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in automotive manufacturing, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in automotive manufacturing, preferably injection molding.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and shop floor control.
- Detail oriented, analytical, and able to work without direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Direct all manufacturing operations to meet production targets.
- Lead, motivate and develop production teams and line operators.
- Ensure safety, quality, and continuous improvement across shifts.
- Drive adherence to standard work, job instructions and process flows.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality to resolve issues quickly.
- Lead significant manufacturing projects and meet the production schedule.
