Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on project engineering in heavy industrial, continuous processing, or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD to generate and modify plant layout drawings.
• Proven history of taking capital projects from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Design & Layout: Create and refine plant equipment layouts and mechanical drawings in-house with AutoCAD.
• CapEx Ownership: Lead plant improvement projects from scoping and budgeting through installation and start-up.
• Oversee heavy machinery installation, replacement, and optimization of conveyors, milling/grinding systems, loading platforms, and dust collection.
• Coordinate structural foundations and civil aspects for equipment and plant infrastructure.
• Supervise on-site contractors and drive commissioning and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
