Advansix in Alabama seeks a Sr. Project Engineer to drive capital projects from concept through closeout, combining field and office work. You’ll coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and finance to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering within petro-chemical environments, strong HSE knowledge, and experience with SAP and MS Project. Travel up to 10% is expected; PMP is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of engineering experience in petro-chem industries or similar industrial plant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.

Aufgaben

• Ensure safe execution of all projects with HSE involvement and permit compliance.
• Manage capital investments through full lifecycle including budgeting, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout.
• Integrate plant personnel to meet customer needs and align with site goals.
• Develop project scoping, risk assessments, and AR documentation for capital investments.
• Prepare bid packages and issue work packages to construction.
• Monitor and control projects to meet objectives and AR metrics, including scheduling and cost control.
• Forecast and manage capital expenditures monthly.
• Interface with site and company personnel to optimize resources and vendor interaction.
• Lead aspects of Management of Change and pre-Startup Safety Review on assigned projects.
