Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a state-of-the-art production facility manufacturing architectural wood doors. This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and emphasizes process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining daily floor presence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in an assembly operation (wood products preferred).
• Self-starter able to work independently and in a team.
• Project management and capital project experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day operations with Production, CI, Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Drive process improvements to meet KPIs.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.
• Maintain strong floor presence and work with operators and leadership to resolve issues.
• Escalate complex problems requiring deep process analysis after initial response.
• Coordinate design, development, validation of manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Improve processes and eliminate waste in key constraint areas.
• Enhance safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
• Develop and drive metrics with Production Teams.
