Vogrinc Search Group seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for a hands-on role in a state-of-the-art facility that makes architectural wood doors. You will report to the Automation Engineering Manager and work with Production, CI, Maintenance, and Engineering to drive process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing engineering in a custom assembly operation, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering mindset with focus on improving manufacturing processes.
• Ability to lead projects from start to finish and influence teams.
• Strong communication skills across levels of staff and departments.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for solving hands-on manufacturing problems to help improve day-to-day performance.
• Strong process improvement skills to meet KPIs.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor with operators and supervisors.
• Serve as escalation resource for complex process issues after initial response.
• Coordinate planning, design, and validation of manufacturing processes.
• Improve processes and eliminate waste in key constraint areas.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in assigned areas.
• Develop and drive metrics with Production Teams.
