Veeco is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead production scale-up of a next‑generation ion deposition platform at its Beverly, MA site. You will work directly with assembly technicians to stand up scalable processes and drive manufacturing readiness for multiple configurations.

In this floor‑level role, you will solve complex electromechanical issues, apply 8D/5 Why/Fishbone methodologies, and partner with design, quality, and supply chain to improve throughput and manufacturability as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering with 5+–7+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, sustaining engineering, or production of complex electromechanical systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls hardware in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead scale‑up for Veeco's ion deposition system across evolving configurations.
• Establish scalable processes, tooling, documentation, and production infrastructure.
• Lead floor‑level problem solving using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA approaches.
