Job summary

L&T Technology Services is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support mechanical manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires hands-on experience with manufacturing, problem-solving, and knowledge of GD&T and safety principles.

Responsibilities include design and testing of tooling and equipment, reviewing drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and quality on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2-4 years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety, GD&T, and problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test mechanical tools and equipment.
• Support operations through hands-on engineering and problem-solving.
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Develop and improve mechanical and structural designs using CAD and software.
• Apply GD&T principles to drawings and requirements.
• Analyze proposals to determine feasibility, cost, and timelines.
• Support process improvements, safety initiatives, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and drafting teams.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and engineering applications for documentation.
• Work with foundry and machining processes.
