Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with manufacturing plans for customer castings based on drawings, specifications, and cost requirements.
• Support new product development, including estimating, routing, tooling, rigging design, sampling, and production release.
• Review repeat products and help update processes, tooling, or instructions as needed.
• Serve as a technical resource between Engineering, Sales, Operations, vendors, and the shop floor.
• Create and communicate clear work instructions and processing requirements.
• Support tooling construction, modification, repair, and sample processing.
• Conduct shop floor audits to help ensure process compliance, quality, and efficiency.
• Assist with tooling cost justification, customer design change requests, and deviation requests.
• Work with vendors on tooling design, pricing, and manufacturing requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem solving, working with drawings and specifications, and partnering with production teams to turn customer requirements into efficient manufacturing processes. • Ability to balance quality, cost, delivery, and manufacturability.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and shop floor teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
