Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test mechanical tools, equipment, machines, and related systems.
• Support manufacturing operations through hands‑on engineering and technical problem‑solving.
• Investigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to maintenance teams.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Assist with the development and improvement of mechanical and structural designs using CAD and engineering software.
• Apply GD&T principles to engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements.
• Analyze design proposals and specifications to determine project feasibility, cost, and timelines.
• Support manufacturing process improvements, safety initiatives, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and drafting teams to resolve technical issues.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and engineering applications for documentation, analysis, and reporting.
• Work with manufacturing processes, including foundry operations and, preferably, machining processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2-4 years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety, GD&T, and problem-solving techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with foundry processes.
• Familiarity with machining processes.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft PowerApps.
