Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on manufacturing engineering and equipment troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, CNC, robotics, machine vision, heat treatment, or PLC-controlled equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving on the manufacturing floor.
• Experience designing or modifying tooling and fixtures.
• CAD experience; SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize vacuum heat-treatment processes, including furnace programming, heat-treat cycle development, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot and improve CNC milling and trimming processes, including tooling, workholding, alignment, feeding systems, and overall process performance.
• Program and troubleshoot SCARA robots, bowl feeders, automated equipment, and pneumatic controls.
• Configure, tune, and troubleshoot Keyence vision and camera inspection systems.
• Support automated processes including laser etching, electropolishing, passivation, cleaning, coating, inspection, and finishing.
• Diagnose equipment and process problems and coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Analyze product-quality feedback and translate it into practical manufacturing improvements.
• Create SolidWorks models and 2D drawings for tooling, equipment, and process improvements.
• Work with Operations, Quality, contractors, and equipment suppliers to resolve technical problems and improve manufacturing performance.
