Vesta Management is seeking an affordable housing experienced Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations at Hudson Heights in Mechanicville NY. The role emphasizes hands-on work, meeting deadlines, and delivering a positive resident experience.

You will perform assigned maintenance tasks to meet safety and appearance standards, respond quickly to resident service requests, complete make-readies, and participate in on-call emergencies, nights, and weekends. A vehicle may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks to ensure property meets safety, appearance, and operational standards.
• Respond quickly to resident service requests and resolve work orders.
• Complete a make-ready punch list and ensure vacant units are move-in ready.
• Emergency on-call, nights, and weekends required.
• May drive a company vehicle; assist in maintaining curb appeal and property appearance.
• Maintain overall attractiveness of the property and ensure common areas meet quality standards.
• Inspect apartments, building systems, common areas, and grounds for deficiencies and address them.
• Report maintenance needs to the Property Manager or lead maintenance personnel.
• Handle and document all service requests/work orders thoroughly and promptly, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and electrical tasks.
• Assist with moving appliances and storing supplies; ensure unsafe conditions are corrected immediately with safety first.
