Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to join our on-site team. You’ll prep vacant apartments, handle work orders, perform general maintenance from plumbing and HVAC to painting and appliance repair, and help keep common areas inviting.

You’ll stay active, work with your hands, and contribute to resident satisfaction with timely, safe workmanship. We value reliability, pride in quality, and the ability to adapt to seasonal tasks and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile.
• Maintain general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Be on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
• Work safely and efficiently.
