Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to keep apartments in top condition. You’ll prep market-ready units, address work orders with urgency, and perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC support, and painting.

You’ll help keep grounds inviting and support preventative maintenance and seasonal tasks. Team-oriented, hands-on professionals who can lift up to 100 lbs, work outdoors in all conditions, andFlexibility for weekends/on-call shifts are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections
• Pitch in with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks
• Stay alert and on-call for emergency maintenance needs
• Work safely, efficiently, and with pride—because your work matters
