Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee an apartment community. The role combines hands-on repairs with team supervision, safety adherence, and strong customer service.

You will manage service requests, inspect property grounds, and maintain preventative maintenance programs while coordinating with the Property Manager. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in maintenance supervision, EPA Type II certification, and lives within 30 miles of the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience.
• EPA Type II certification required; CPO preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property.
• Driver's license and current auto insurance; own vehicle required.
• Basic hand tools required.
• Ability to use general maintenance equipment safely.
• EPA HVAC knowledge and repair ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and supervise internal and external contractors.
• Prioritize and assign service requests and track completion.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to maintain curb appeal and safety.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program.
• Assist with move-in/move-out process.
• Prepare vacant units for marketing and repairs.
• Manage inventory and budget adherence.
• Schedule turns and supervise vendors within budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate with Property Manager on property performance.
• Participate in monthly unit inspections.
