Job summary

Housing Trust Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the physical upkeep and efficient operation of our property. This role combines hands-on maintenance with supervision of staff and vendor coordination.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, 4+ years in the field, and certifications in HVAC and EPA. Expect a full-time, hourly schedule with benefits and paid time off, plus opportunities to lead preventive programs and improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 4 years industry experience.
• Ability to supervise staff directly.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance: plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, pools & spas, life safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance for the community as directed by the Property Manager.
• Supervise staff, provide training, and manage performance feedback.
• Schedule maintenance personnel and vendors per policy.
• Track inventory for repairs and maintenance.
• Manage turnover processes.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programs across trades.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage.
• Manage budget adherence for the property.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Supervise Maintenance Technician as described in related job doc.
