Job summary

Housing Trust Group, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the pleasing appearance and proper operation of our community properties. This is a working supervisor role, with hands-on responsibility for maintenance and repairs alongside the maintenance team.

The position is full-time, hourly, offers benefits and paid time off, and requires strong leadership, extensive maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, HVAC), and the ability to manage vendors and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and write reports.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and supervise a team effectively.
• Strong knowledge of apartment maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of maintenance for the community as directed by the Property Manager.
• Supervise staff, provide training, motivation, and performance feedback.
• Monitor scheduling of maintenance personnel and vendors and ensure adherence to policies.
• Track inventory for repairs and maintenance.
• Responsible for turnover processes.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and service requests; report safety hazards.
