Job summary

East West Hospitality seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager for Stag Lodge in Deer Valley, UT. You will lead the day-to-day maintenance and engineering operations, manage a hands-on team, and coordinate repairs to ensure lodge facilities meet top standards for guests and owners.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage preventive maintenance, and collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and kitchen teams. The role requires strong technical knowledge and leadership in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance, facilities, engineering, or building operations experience; hospitality experience strongly preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills; know when to call specialized services.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and property inspections.
• Strong organization and time‑management skills to prioritize multiple projects and needs.
• Clear, professional communication with employees, leadership, guests, vendors, and contractors.
• Basic computer skills; comfortable maintaining electronic work orders and maintenance records.
• Relevant trade licenses, certifications, or technical training are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance and engineering operations for Stag Lodge.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop maintenance team members with safety and service expectations.
• Perform and oversee repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, lighting, carpentry, and painting.
• Develop and manage preventive and seasonal maintenance programs.
• Conduct regular property inspections and address safety concerns with follow‑through.
• Maintain guest rooms, common areas, kitchens, offices, and other facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and minimize disruption to guests.
• Oversee outside contractors and service providers; obtain proposals and monitor quality.
• Support maintenance budgets, CAPEX planning, and major repair projects.
• Maintain accurate work orders and records for inspections, repairs, and expenses.
• Partner with Housekeeping, Front Desk, F&B, and other teams to address operational needs.
• Participate in emergency response and after-hours support.
