Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in engineering or maintenance in a hotel or property environment.
• Ability to operate all hotel systems and associated equipment.
• Strong English communication with guests, co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the engineering and maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all hotel systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, laundry, kitchen, water/ wastewater, carpentry, plumbing, painting and related systems.
• Cover Director of Engineering / Engineering Manager duties in their absence.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel fire, water and sewage systems; respond to guest requests promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for repairs and projects; manage inventories.
• Participate in budget planning and energy-saving initiatives; ensure health and safety compliance.
