Job summary

Snowpine Lodge in Alta, Utah, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our luxury hotel team. This is a part-time, year-round position responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of our mechanical and electrical systems, and for managing preventive maintenance schedules.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in hotel or resort maintenance, proficiency in HVAC, plumbing or electrical work, light carpentry, and a willingness to work in a demanding hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of 2–5 years in hotel or resort maintenance.
• HVAC, plumbing, or electrical skills required.
• Light carpentry and painting knowledge.
• Pool operation certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance schedules.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Repair and install systems as needed.
