Job summary

Food Talent Solutions, in partnership with a food manufacturer, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager for its Omaha facility. You will lead a small team of three technicians and oversee maintenance across a single-shift operation serving 60-70 employees.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, a proactive approach to preventive maintenance, and the ability to balance frontline support with strategic reliability improvements in a regulated food environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of food-safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule and develop three maintenance technicians.
• Oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and refrigeration-related systems.
• Support food-processing, conveying and packaging equipment.
• Improve equipment reliability, PM execution and plant uptime.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with production, quality and sanitation.
• Manage work orders, maintenance records, spare parts and outside vendors.
• Support equipment installations, plant projects and continuous improvements.
• Ensure maintenance work meets plant safety, food-safety and regulatory requirements.
