Job summary

Aimic Inc. in Tulsa, OK, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support food manufacturing and packaging operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime and maintain safety.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings, working with PLCs, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance. Weekend or on‑call work may be required to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial or food manufacturing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting conveyors, ovens, mixers, motors, and packaging equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Familiarity with PLCs, automated control systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Welding, fabrication, machining, or equipment installation experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Previous experience mentoring maintenance personnel desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on conveyors, motors, pumps, ovens, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging machinery.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment inspections to ensure reliable operation.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement repairs with minimal production disruption.
• Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and equipment documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Mentor junior maintenance personnel and promote safe maintenance practices.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Follow applicable food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

• Previous experience guiding or mentoring maintenance personnel is desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and accommodate shift schedules, weekends, or on‑call requirements as needed.
