Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Sheet Metal Lead for 2nd shift to direct daily fabrication activities, coordinate with the production team, and provide on-the-job training. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

The Lead will schedule activities, support the supervisor in employee development, and ensure a clean, organized work area while enforcing all procedures and policies. DOE pay range applies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read basic blue prints and understand specifications.
• Ability to train and develop other employees on the shop floor.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive in maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily sheet metal fabrication activities for 2nd shift.
• Lead and coordinate work with department teams and supervisor.
• Provide On-the-Job Training and coaching to team members.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and implement production schedules and workflows.
