Job summary

Sonaca North America seeks a Sheet Metal Lead for 2nd shift to direct daily sheet metal fabrication activities under the Production Manager. The role includes on‑the‑job training, maintaining organization, and enforcing safety and quality standards to achieve on‑time delivery.

The Lead also participates in team meetings and supports employee development, while upholding company policies. Responsibilities cover scheduling, workflow management, and ensuring compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 2+ years in a production/manufacturing environment with knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Able to read blueprints and understand specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily sheet metal fabrication activities per Production Manager directives.
• Provide On‑the‑Job Training to employees and support skill development.
• Lead team meetings, schedule activities, and act as safety monitor.
• Ensure workflows are productive and comply with safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement production schedules and enforce policies.
