Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Alabama. You will lead a hands-on maintenance team of 10–20, oversee preventive maintenance, and respond to equipment downtime to keep production running safely and efficiently.

You will work with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, boiler, and mechanical systems, ensuring OSHA and related standards are met while developing team members’ technical skills and reliability across the operation.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a maintenance team of 10–20 employees.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and prioritize work orders.
• Respond quickly to production equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
• Support production machinery, facility equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, boiler, and mechanical systems.
• Ensure maintenance work meets safety and quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, USDA, and other applicable regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Partner with production and operations to improve equipment reliability and keep production on schedule.
