Job summary

BLG Logistics, Inc is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to oversee daily maintenance operations in Vance, AL. The role involves coordinating preventive maintenance, performing repairs on facilities and equipment, and ensuring safety compliance during the 2nd shift (2:27 PM – 10:45 PM).

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of related maintenance experience, familiarity with building codes/OSHA, and ability to read blueprints. Hospitalization and retirement benefits are part of the company program.

Qualifications

• Four to five years related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of city/state building codes, OSHA requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical/plumbing schematics.

Responsibilities

• Direct and maintain facilities and plant equipment.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs during production.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Ensure safety inspections are completed and records maintained.
• Supervise subordinates and manage maintenance workflow.
