Job summary

The HT Group, a manufacturing client in Austin, TX, is seeking a hands-on Logistics Supervisor to lead day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations. You will develop the team, improve inventory processes, and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.

Responsibilities include supervising ~12 staff, coordinating domestic and international shipments, and developing SOPs while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logistics with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with international shipping and freight forwarding.
• Strong inventory management and process improvement skills.
• Proven ability to train and develop warehouse staff.
• Familiar with WMS/ERP/TMS systems; NetSuite a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Hands-on leadership in a working supervisor environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics, shipping, receiving, fulfillment for ~12 staff.
• Set priorities, coach staff, and ensure on-time orders and shipments.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, customs docs, freight forwarding.
• Remain hands-on in warehouse tasks as needed (palletizing, loading, staging).
• Support inventory management and improve broken processes.
• Develop SOPs, safety rules, and best practices.
• Identify workflow improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, sales, procurement, and other teams.
