Job summary

Mosaic Design Labs in West Berkeley, CA is offering a paid internship for students who want hands-on experience with real hardware and AI-native lab systems. Work is 8–16 hours per week during the semester, scheduled around your classes, and all on site.

You will organize, label, restock, and maintain the lab, assist with electronics assembly, run 3D prints and laser cuts, and help keep our parts inventory accurate using our phone-based tools.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a science or engineering program at UC Berkeley or nearby.
• Must have hands-on experience building, fixing, or taking apart things.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented with a place for everything.
• Reliable and willing to help with whatever the lab needs.

Responsibilities

• Organize the lab: bins, labels, tool chests, and parts placement.
• Assist with electronics assembly: cables, wiring harnesses, simple boards.
• Run 3D prints and laser cuts after training.
• Cleanup and restock lab materials, cardboard and trash.
• Keep parts inventory accurate using phone-based inventory tools.
