Berkeley Lab is seeking a Student Assistant for STEM Education Programs for Summer 2026. This position will provide key administrative and logistical support for our STEM internships and outreach events. As a student assistant, you will manage in-person and virtual events, interact with staff and participants, and help with social media.
This is a full-time role with a salary range of $19.18 - $25.18 per hour. Candidates should be currently enrolled undergraduates who are detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills. A hybrid work schedule is available, with some tasks performed remotely.
The Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) Academic Learning Internship and Faculty Training (A-LIFT) Office is seeking a Student Assistant for STEM Education Programs (Berkeley, CA) for the summer to support our science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) internships and outreach events.
In this hybrid role, the student assistant will provide crucial administrative and logistical support that guarantees a seamless, professional experience for our participants while allowing core staff to focus on strategic planning. This position is a twelve-week appointment from June to August 2026. There is the possibility for the role to be extended into the academic calendar year, contingent upon available funding.
