Arizona Western College seeks a Lab/Facility Technician to keep the Wellton Manufacturing Training Facility safe, functional, and ready for hands-on learning.

Grant funded through the Empower to Grow program, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, and supporting students and instructors in a hands-on environment. This role is non-exempt and offers benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Arizona Driver’s License or Equivalent is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the Wellton manufacturing training facility and performs custodial duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized training facility.
• Supports instructors during hands-on lab sessions
• Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
• Experience with maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment.
