Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical or Biological Sciences or equivalent.
• Two years related laboratory experience required.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and waste handling.
• Familiarity with procurement procedures and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan laboratory experiments and setups.
• Prepare media, solutions, and specimens for classroom labs.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and biohazards.
• Supervise and train lab aides and student workers.
• Assist in development of new labs and evaluate lab results.
• Maintain and repair laboratory equipment and manage service contracts.
• Manage purchasing, inventories, and reagent supplies.
• Share instructional materials and coordinate resource distribution.
