Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT
• Hands-on exposure to network switching, including basic switchport and VLAN configuration
• Experience with physical/virtual servers; VMware or Hyper-V familiarity
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn across networking, servers, and end-user systems
• Willingness to travel ~20% and perform maintenance in evenings/weekends
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to all locations
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft) a plus

Responsibilities

• Configure and change Cisco switches as directed
• Support wired and wireless connectivity across all sites
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate as needed
• Maintain network documentation and diagrams
• Install, configure, and maintain physical servers and virtual environments (VMware/Hyper‑V)
• Perform firmware and OS updates and monitor server health
• Assist with backup, recovery, and business-continuity tasks
• Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive)
• Manage Active Directory accounts, DNS, DHCP, and group policy
• Travel to sites ~20% for installations, upgrades, and on-site support
• Coordinate maintenance windows and minimize disruption
• Document systems and procedures; work with vendors on hardware, software, licensing
