Job description

We are looking for an experienced Network and Security Engineer to support and maintain a multi-site infrastructure that includes several U.S.-based data centers. This role is responsible for the stability, security, and performance of enterprise network systems while supporting large-scale Linux and Windows server environments. The position also plays a key role in delivering infrastructure and network services for a global managed services client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain network hardware from vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco, and Dell
• Design and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 network architecture, including redundancy technologies such as VRRP and STP
• Support advanced routing and networking environments utilizing BGP, OSPF, SDN, and SD-WAN
• Implement and maintain network security controls and access policies
• Deploy and support security technologies including IDS and IPS solutions
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IPsec VPN connectivity
• Assist with infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across multiple data centers

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing enterprise networking infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and modern networking protocols
• Minimum of 3 years working with Linux-based infrastructure
• Experience supporting virtualization platforms such as KVM, VMware, or Hyper-V (OpenNebula experience is a plus)
• Comfort working with command-line tools and automation using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl
• Experience working with networking and infrastructure in public cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills
