Job summary

Nationwide Southwest is seeking an IT Generalist / IT Support Specialist in Bedford, TX to manage day‑to‑day technology for a 25‑person organization. The role covers desktop support for Windows and Mac, Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, networking, printers, mobile devices, and a Yealink Telzio IP phone system.

You will support field sales, maintain security practices, and own the technology environment. This is an in‑office position requiring collaboration with staff and vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional IT support or IT generalist experience.
• Strong Windows troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of MacOS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong experience with Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience supporting VoIP/IP telephone systems.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi, Ethernet.
• Experience troubleshooting computers, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical support for ~25 employees.
• Troubleshoot Windows and Mac computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Set up new employees and decommission equipment.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain software and hardware.
• Troubleshoot Wi‑Fi, network, VPN, and internet issues.
• Support employees in‑office and remotely.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and phones.
