Job summary

Prism Maritime, LLC is seeking a Jr. Installation Technician in San Diego, CA. The role involves general manual labor, assisting with shipboard installation, and fabrication shop tasks under direct supervision.

You may lift up to 50 pounds and follow clear written and verbal instructions. Responsibilities include tool/material storage and transport, loading/unloading, cutting/grinding metal, and occasional travel. Overtime is common.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED may be required depending on contract stipulations.
Must have a basic understanding of standard power tools and the ability to read and follow simple instructions.

Responsibilities

Assist in storage and staging of various tools/materials; transportation of tools/material to the worksite; loading and unloading vehicles; general clean-up/daily housekeeping; cutting/grinding metal; standing fire watch; pulling cable; and heavy lifting of tools/material/equipment.
Overtime is routinely required but not guaranteed.
Travel outside the local area may be required.
Perform any other assignments or tasks as needed by management to assist in accomplishing the organization’s mission, objectives and goals.
