Job summary
Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor in McDonough, GA to lead daily molding operations on first and second shifts. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while hands-on troubleshooting and mentoring production staff.
Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in molding, strong process knowledge, and experience in startup environments. Onsite leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in injection molding with hands-on troubleshooting.
- Experience supervising production teams.
- Strong knowledge of molds, robotics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Experience supporting startups or new processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering or related field preferred.
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily injection molding operations to meet schedules and quality.
- Provide training and technical support to production personnel.
- Oversee machine setups, startups, mold changes, and changeovers.
- Monitor performance, cycle times, material usage, and process consistency.
- Develop and implement SOPs for startup facility.
- Coordinate with maintenance and tooling teams to resolve issues.
- Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
