Job summary

Coinflow is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team, take ownership of day-to-day delivery, and guide technical direction in a white-label payments platform regulated for reliability, security, and scale.

In this player-coach role, you’ll still contribute code on core paths, mentor engineers, own delivery plans, and drive architectural decisions, reporting directly to the CTO as the team scales in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering leader who remains an active IC and can contribute code.
• Proven delivery ownership with real product shipping cadence.
• Experience building processes without bureaucracy.
• Proficient with TypeScript/Node, Express, and React in production.
• Strong emphasis on reliability, security, and correctness.
• Direct communicator who documents clearly and shares bad news.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and ship production code on critical payment paths.
• Debug production incidents and reliability gaps.
• Define technical direction and make architecture calls.
• Mentor engineers, oversee performance and growth.
• Own delivery planning and project sequencing.
• Be accountable for the team's output to the founders.
