Job summary

Coinflow is hiring a Front End Engineer who will be the first dedicated frontend hire, building the design system on shadcn/ui and Tailwind, and shipping polished UI directly with the CTO.

You will own architecture decisions, design end-to-end features, and collaborate with backend engineers to reflect multi-chain settlement, card networks, and risk states in a fast, trustworthy payments platform.

Qualifications

• Strong command of shadcn/ui, Radix primitives, Tailwind CSS, and React/TypeScript.
• Portfolio or GitHub history showing products you designed and built yourself.
• Real product design judgment: typography, spacing, color systems, information hierarchy.
• Comfort owning ambiguity and deciding the right interaction pattern.
• Experience building or extending a design system in production codebase with versioning and theming.

Responsibilities

• Build and own our design system on top of shadcn/ui and Tailwind — components, tokens, patterns, and documentation.
• Design and ship full features end-to-end: wireframe to production component, data-connected, iterated based on feel.
• Redesign and modernize surfaces like merchant onboarding, dashboards, and checkout flows.
• Set the visual direction for a fintech product to feel trustworthy, fast, and precise.
• Make architecture decisions about component composition, theming, and reusability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to reflect complex systems (multi-chain settlement, card networks, fraud/risk states).
