Job summary

RediMinds, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to build and run the day-to-day financial engine of the company. You will own core accounting, close processes, and robust controls to support growth.

Reporting to the CEO, you will deliver timely financial information, manage tax filings and audits, and partner with leadership to scale systems and automate workflows while maintaining GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience in technology, software or SaaS businesses.
• Controller/Assistant Controller/Senior Accounting Manager experience.
• Strong command of GAAP; knowledge of GL, AR/AP, payroll, close, and financial statement prep.
• Experience owning full monthly close and producing timely financial statements.
• Experience improving accounting processes, policies and internal controls.
• Experience managing cash, reconciliations and working capital.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and variance analysis.
• Experience analyzing contract economics or profitability.
• Hands-on with accounting/ERP systems; comfortable automating processes.
• CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own core accounting function: GL, AR, AP, payroll coordination, month-end and year-end close.
• Own monthly close and deliver P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements.
• Maintain chart of accounts and ensure GAAP-compliant recording.
• Manage banking, reconciliations and working capital.
• Coordinate tax filings and external audits.
• Establish scalable accounting policies and internal controls.
• Improve accounting systems and automate workflows.
• Streamline AR/AP, billing, expenses and close workflows.
• Provide financial modeling for major commercial opportunities and pricing.
• Support CEO/COO in evaluating economics of client contracts.
• Support strategic investments with financial analysis.
• Manage and develop lean finance and accounting team.
