Job summary

Madison Street Search seeks a hands-on Controller to lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, month-end close, and cost accounting in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

You will partner with the CEO and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, strengthen internal controls, manage audits and tax compliance, and drive ERP improvements to enhance financial visibility and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineered products, or other inventory-intensive industries.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
• A proactive, analytical leadership style with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, month-end close, financial reporting, inventory, and cost accounting.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting processes, and financial reporting.
• Manage audits, tax compliance, multi-entity accounting, and multi-currency transactions.
• Optimize ERP systems and reporting to improve financial visibility and efficiency.
