Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician at a large manufacturing facility in York, Nebraska to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systems. The role emphasizes energy efficiency, safety compliance, and assisting with equipment installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, GED or trade school with 1–2 years of experience.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in daily tasks.
• Clear communication to exchange information.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams; manage work orders via CMMS.
• Strong organization and inquisitive mindset for efficient work.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose problems, and execute repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management and ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety laws.
