Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium‑sized buildings and industrial systems, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.

You will inspect installations, respond to emergencies, assist with installation and modification of equipment, review work orders, and support energy management while ensuring safety compliance and clear communication with the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and perform repairs.
• Carry out onsite tasks such as painting, tile repair, electrical, plumbing, landscaping and snow removal as needed.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by keeping building systems operating efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
