Job summary

Decagon seeks a Business Systems Manager to own ERP implementation, deployment, and maintenance, driving a cohesive systems landscape across Ramp, Navan, TeamOhana, Aleph, and more. You’ll be hands-on, shaping cross‑functional processes with Finance, People, Legal, Sales, and other stakeholders.

You will navigate ambiguous environments, deliver best-in-class system solutions, and continuously improve efficiency while partnering with leadership to quantify time saved and errors reduced.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience administering business systems — ERP, HRIS, spend, and travel platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AI-native tools to automate real workflows.
• Deep expertise in end-to-end finance/accounting workflows — AP, AR, GL, month-end close, consolidations.
• Experience with build vs. buy decisions and middleware considerations.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Finance, People, Legal, and other partners.
• Ability to drive complex projects independently in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale the company’s business systems ecosystem — ERP, Ramp, Navan, TeamOhana, Aleph, Variabl and more.
• Oversee systems strategy, architecture, configuration, integrations, data governance, and admin across the organization.
• Design end-to-end processes across finance and operations, closing gaps between upstream tools and the ERP.
• Identify bottlenecks and deploy automated or AI-powered solutions to reduce manual data entry and errors.
• Lead rollout of new tools, features, and system upgrades — training teams and ensuring business continuity.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, People, Legal, and Engineering to translate requirements into scalable system solutions.
