Job summary

Mi-Jack Products is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Team. This hands-on role focuses on keeping forks, stand-up forklifts, industrial vehicles, and warehouse machinery running safely and efficiently through routine maintenance and timely repairs.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, maintain logs, and follow safety procedures in a factory environment in Hazel Crest, IL.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Some experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electricity and electrical components.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems to write reports and use Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Updates and reviews daily maintenance logs.
• Performs lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. for preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Reviews service requests to determine problem and solutions.
• Safely operates forklifts, man-lifts, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations; communicate activities; participate in special projects.
