Job summary

Mi-Jack Products, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the Mi-Jack maintenance team. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing fork trucks, stand-up forklifts, and related warehouse equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, basic electrical knowledge, the ability to read blueprints, and a willingness to learn. Training is provided in a collaborative, production environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electricity and electrical components.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems to write reports and use Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Updates and reviews daily maintenance logs.
• Performs tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. on equipment for preventive maintenance purposes.
• Troubleshoots and repairs various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and systems involving the isolation of the malfunction parts, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of faulty components.
• Reviews service requests for repairs and maintenance to determine nature of problem and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Safely operates forklifts, man-lifts, and equipment.
